- NA (1) The Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) has a requirement to solicit rates and service for the procurement of Inland Motor Carrier Services and a facility able to handle less than container loads (LCL) shipments from Port of San Juan to the desi gnated points with the delivery in Puerto Rico. Carrier must maintain all vehicles throughout the period of the contract. (2) The proposed solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. (3) The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 1 November 2003. No paper copy will be issued. (4) All Request for Proposals (RFP) and related documents may be downloaded at the following website http://www.mtmc.army.mil. After reaching the site, click on the Business Center Tab, go to Solicitation and click on Motor Carrier for Puerto Rico, to acce ss all information pertaining to this requirement. (5) A pre-proposal conference will be held for this procurement, the date and time and other information will be posted on the MTMC website, whereby prospective offerors will be provided a general overview of the solicitation requirement. (6)Offerors must register in the Government's Central Contract Registration (CCR) system to do business with the Government via Internet as the following location http://ww.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil or you can also obtain copies by register in the FEDBIZOP system w ebsite at http://aquisition.army.mil/asfi.
