- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue an to Responsive Systems Company of Morganville, NJ for the annual lease/maintenance of the proprietary software product Buffer Pool Tool for the period of October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. The software lease/maintenance is currently known to be available only through Responsive Systems Company. The Buffer Pool Tool collects DB2 buffer pool statistics for each object (tablespace/index). These statistics can be used to tune the bugger pools by allowing the assignment of similar objects to the same buffer pool. SSA uses this software to enhance performance of the subsystem and the corresponding applications. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting SSA?s requirements are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data. Pricing data may be submitted. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in SSA's assessment of capable sources. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by 09/25/03. Responses can be sent via email to Angie Landis at Angie.Landis@ssa.gov.
