- NA The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center at Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole source basis with Committee for Children, Seattle, WA, 98104. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423990 and the size business standard is 100 employees. The proposed action is for supplies or items that will be used at Child and Youth Services programs at Fort McPherson, GA to develop and strengthen trainings and partnerships with parents in the Child and Youth Services, which the Government intents to so licit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). Items include: 1) Second Step Pre/K Kit; 2) Second Step Family Guide Kit; 3) Second Step Staff Training Video; and 4) Second Step Family Video. The reason justifying this sole source procurement is that the Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above is encouraged to give written not ification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses received within two days of the date of this publication (by 4:00pm on Septe mber 21st, 2003) for this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
