- NA The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center at Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole source basis with Speed Stacks, Inc. of Englewood, CO 80112. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423910 and the size business standard i s 100 employees. The proposed action is for supplies or items that will be used at the Child and Youth Services programs at Fort McPherson, GA to develop and promote many skills for children used in a number of other sports by increasing proficiency, awareness, focus, cre ativity and rhythm; which the Government intents to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). Item includes Speed Stacks Sport Stacking cups. The reason justifying this sole source procurement is that the Governm ent believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above is encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Suppo rting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses received within two days of the date of this publication (by 4:00pm on September 21st, 2003) for this synopsis will be c onsidered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of dete rmining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
