Description
NA The Directorate of Contracting Fort Campbell intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Ashbury International group for 6 each LVII-Mod 1, Leica VIPER II Binocular Laser Range Finder (BLRF) 7x42mm. The VIPER II BLRF comes standard with Swiss M il Reticle, includes standard accessories of a water resistant pouch, carrying straps (one for VECTOR and one for Pouch), one 6V (DL245) battery, one pair of objective protection caps, optical lens tissue, instruction manual, quick reference guide, field i nstruction card, checklist/operation card; a. ICD 153 Communication Protocol for PLGR+96. b. ASCII Data Communication. C. Embedded Laser Protection (l.064nm). d. Interface Cable for PLGR (AN/PSN-11). E. Anti-Reflective Objective Filters (ARD). F. Night Vision Interface Mount for the AN/PVS-14. g. A magnetic Tactical Tripod. H. Polymer Resin Hard Transit Case (MIL-C-4150). NAICS CODE- 333314, SIC-3827, FSC- 1240. Business size 500. Cost is to include Shipping Cost, Handling and Insurance. If a n equal item is offered, item must meet the safety standards required by the Army and must be approved by the AMCOM Engineer at Fort Campbell Ky. Offeror of an equal item must provide enough technical literature to allow for evaluation of items offered. Al so provide other customers that have used item so they can be contacted to provide information on the equipments reliability. NAICS code for this procurement is 336413 and is to be awarded on an unrestricted basis. This sole source procurement is under the simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer wit hin 10 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Ashbury Interna tional Group. Responses are due by 28 Sept 2003, 12:00 p.m. (CST).
