Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F61521-03-T-0055 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. USAFE CONS intends to issue a purchase order for providing CLIN 1: Stacker, Reach 1 ea. Statement of Work/Specifications is as follows: Engine must be Diesel and JP8 driven. Operated by seated driver. Driver?s cab shall warrant good visibility during all stages of operation and shall be equipped with air conditioning. Load capacity: up to 45 tons (metric) in the first row. Up to 35 tons (metric) in the second row. Minimum 17 tons (metric) in the third row. Must be able to stack 5 empty containers. Must have rotating top lift spreader for 20' containers. Must be able to load/unload railcars positioned on parallel tracks from one side of the loading docks. Color: no specific requirement. Tires: pneumatic tires. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Train the trainer training in German, 3 persons. 2 sets of operators manuals in English and German language. 2 sets of parts manuals in English and German language. 3 year warranty. Contractor shall start warranty repair within 2 workdays. The requested date of delivery is 28 Feb 04.The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the synopsis/solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation process.
