Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation reference number is F1391132510100 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 336214 with 500 emplyees size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote for the trailer including delivery to Charleston AFB, South Carolina. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. It is not the government intent to make the item a Brand Name requirement. The item listed by Brand Name may be substituted for an OR EQUAL product. If the offeror substitutes the item, then the offeror shall submit specifications, literature, catalog cuts, or brochures. The agency need is for: Qty (1), enclosed cargo/sport camper trailer, Pace Explorer or EQUAL, minimum length 18 feet. Trailer should include all features identified as standard on the Pace Explorer, Model No. SE8518TA2, and the optional roof top air conditioner with heatstrip. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. Evaluation procedures outlined in FAR part 13 shall apply to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Price, (2) Technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, and (3) Delivery Time. Price and technical factors when combined are approximately equal. Contractors shall complete and include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications Commercial Items with their response to this Request for Quote.
