- Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 423830 and employee standard size 500. The proposed contract listed is set aside for small business concerns. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Purchase a RMI LE-100S Marking System, or equal. The item must meet or exceed these specifications for marking head; 1) High-speed/precision Galvanometer Beam Control, 2) 100 mm F-Theta Focusing Lens for a 60mm x 60mm marking area, 3) Nd: YVV04 Crystal (fiber optic coupled), 4) Diode-pumped Laser Source, 5) 1064-nm wavelength, 6) Q-switched Operation, 7) CDRH Class IV Level of Manufacture, 8) Diode Controller, 9) Diode-pumped Power Source (Fiber Coupled to Marking Head), 10) TE Cooling System, 11) 19? Rack Mount Controller, 12) Input Power: 100-240 VAC, 50/60Hz. These are the specifications for the Portable Computer or Industrial PC; 1) RMI Laser Division Symbol Writer Software, Windows Platform, or equal, 2) Digital I/O, Serial Communication, 3) Mounting Stand, 4) System Manual, 5) Software Manual. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items-applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) 5, 14, 16-19, and 29. The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Program (41 U.S.C. 10, E.O. 10502)(Over $10,000); DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Quotes will be received at 90 CONS/LGCB, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 until 4:30 P.M. local time on 29 Sep 03.
