The existing contract is a Requirements Type Contract and contains three (3) more option periods after Dec 21 2003 and may be extended at the discretion of the Government. Subject intent is for supplies for which the Government does not have complete, unrestrictive technical data. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation, the final intent to add subject NSNs will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the contract. The issue date of this intent is the date on which it was prepared. The closing date of this intent is Oct 6 2003, Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. The total, estimated, yearly value of the 53 items is approximately $1,700,000.00.
