- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Congressional Quarterly (CG) on Congress, Inc., 1414 22nd Street, NW, Washington, D.C. SSA requires legislative tracking services for the purposes of obtaining complete up-to-date information on all phases of congressional activity. Simplified acquisition procedures using FAR Part 12 acquisition of commercial items will be used for this requirement. The contractor shall provide unlimited usage of congressional services for FY 2004 to include: CQ Bill Track, CQ Bill Watch, Bill Text, Bill Comparison, CRS Bill Digests, Congressional Record, CQ Member Profiles, CQ Committees, CQ Schedules, Committee Reports, Congressional Transcripts, CQ House Action Reports, CQ Weekly, CQ Breaking News, Senatewatch, Archives, CQ Today.PDF version. Congressional Quarterly Inc. is the only known sources capable of meeting the above requirements and providing timely delivery. This not a competitive request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government?s intent to procure legislative tracking services from Congressional Quarterly, Inc. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited or received. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources within 3 days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
