- Description
- Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to MTS Systems Corporation for a two-year maintenance and service agreement of universal test machines within the Engineering Mechanics Laboratory. This service is being acquired for the Department of Engineering Mechanics, HQ USAFA/DFEM. Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by September 22, 12:00PM Noon, MDT, to the effect that comparable supplies and/or services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with MTS Systems Corporation a sole source award will be made.
