Approximate ranges will be 133 ea to 200 ea, 201 ea to 264 ea, and 265 ea to 332 ea. Part consists of 17 damped struts. Houses lube and scavenge tubes for #1 bearing thru struts 10-11. Provides support for the forward end of fan rotor thru roller bearing #1 and support housing. Provides engine thrust mount that interfaces with frame. Provides mounting surface for inlet temperature sensor. Material B50TB14. Dimensions .042 min. .048 max. inch thickness, 40.58 min. 40.60 max. OD and 10.069 min. 10.71 max. ID. Applicable to: F110-100 Engine. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 20 ea. Monthly beginning 31 Aug 05. The proposed contract will be a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. The approximate issue will be 6 Oct 03. The approximate closing date will be 7 Nov 03. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Pre-qualified small business sources: Electro Methods, South Windsor, CT., Kerns Mfg Corp, Long Island City, NY, and Jet Engines Technologies, Danvers MA. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. All pre-qualified responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that non-pre-qualified small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
