Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation reference number is F04700-03-T-3234. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20030722. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (THE AWARD WILL BE LESS THAN $100,000) will be followed. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3679. Small business size standard is 750. NAICS is 334220. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking sources for the anticipated purchase of the following item, quantity of three (3) each. *Item (1), Purchase Three (3) each, AIL model 462080-1, or equal, modified to include a power handling capability from 10 Watts to 50 Watts Continuous Wave per connector. Any antenna offered as equal must offer a conical horn antenna design that incorporates a lens system for maintaining a consistent beamwidth across the frequency bandwidth of 6 to 18 GHz. See the statement of work entitled, STATEMENT OF WORK FOR THE HIGH POWER RFS HORN ANTENNA. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the High Power RFS Horn Antenna, quantity of three (3) each, described in this synopsis and statement of work, are invited to submit in writing complete and detailed information describing their ability to provide the required equipment. FOB Destination is the Government preferred method of shipping. Please submit FOB Destination shipping information with all submittals to the office. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
