- Description
- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems to upgrade software and annual maintenance. Philips Medical Systems is the only known source that can supply the software that supports the Hewlett Packard Care VU system that is approved for Government use. In addition, it is the only known source with a complete system that provides compatible software upgrade package and maintenance program for the Hewlett Packard Care VU system. NAICS 511210 applies to this procurement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. If however, any firm believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00 pm on September 24, 2003. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above Hewlett Packard Care VU System requirement. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. If no responses are received within the period indicated, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Philips Medical Systems.
