- Description
- Contracting Officer: Karen Beaty (727) 398-9333. The VISN's 8 and 17 VA Medical Centers in Florida and Texas have a requirement to provide veterans within Audiology services and hearing aid prosthetics at multiple locations including metropolitan and rural areas. It is the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intention to solicit proposals in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of this solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S.C. 8153. The VA anticipates the award of a single contract on a firm, fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity basis from this solicitation. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5 test program with the procurement conducted using FAR 12 and 15 in accordance with IL 90-99-4. The VA reserves the right to award multiple contracts in the event a single award does not provide coverage for VISNs 8 and 17. This solicitation incorporates the requirements for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Bay Pines, Tampa, No. Florida/So. Georgia, Miami, Florida and San Antonio, TX, and VA Outpatient Clinics in Ft. Myers, Jacksonville, Daytona, Port Richey, Orlando, Oakland Park, FL and Corpus Christi, Victoria and McAllen, Texas. All offers must be returned to the address in block 5 of Standard Form 1440. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code 621340 applies.
