- Description
- The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is soliciting bids from interested security guard contractors to provide protection of Service Unit real property, safety of staff and visitors for the Winnebago Indian Health Service, Winnebago, Nebraska. The contractor is required to provide coverage twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, in accordance with the statement of work. The Contractor is responsible for scheduling shifts to manage the coverage. This will be Base + Three (3) Option Years. The Base year for this service is proposed to start on November 1, 2003 and extend through October 31, 2004. The contract will include the option of renewal for (4) four additional option years. The Service Unit shall provide a desk, chair, telephone, office supplies, two-way radios, video surveillance equipment and other miscellaneous items required to perform duties outlined in the scope of work. The contractor shall provide uniforms and badges that will clearly denote a security position. Security services will be in compliance with all applicable Indian Health Service rules and regulations. This is a Firm-Fixed Price, Non-Personal Services Contract. The acquisition listed herein is totally set aside for award to a 51% to 100% Indian owned firm pursuant to the Buy Indian Act. Qualified Buy Indian Security Service vendors may bid on this project by requesting a copy of IFB #3512 in writing from Barbara Goen at the address listed or by telefax at (605) 226-7669. IFB #3512 will be available approximately 15 days after publication of this announcement. We estimate that the Bids will be due October 24, 2003.
