Description: NA It is the Government's intent to award a contract with Gen-Probe, 10210 Genetic Center Dr., San Diego, CA, 92121 for Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina for delivery of reagents, testing equipment, materials, supplies, consumables, train ing for Government personnel, and all equipment maintenance and any other items necessary for testing for Chlamydia Trachomatis (CT), Neisseria Gonnorrhoeae (NG), and Mycobacterium species for the period 1 November 2003 through 30 September 2004, Base Year and Four One-Year Options. Responses will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325413; the size standard is 500 employees. The FSC is 6505. A fixed-price type contract i s anticipated. It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with CCR (the website may be accessed on the internet at: www.ccr.gov to register). Upon release to the public, the solicitation as w ell as amendments will be available via the internet at the ASFI and FedBizOpps website: http://acquisition.army.mil. Contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments.
