- NA Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5, the U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army ?????? Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to modify the existing purchase orders with Johnson Outdoors Inc., 625 Conklin Road, Binghamton, New York 13903 and MMI-Federal Marketing Services Corp., 6101 Brewbaker Boulevard, Montgomery, Alabama 36116. This effort is to provide the Government with 7,000 additional Eureka ICS 2000 shelters plus spares from Johnson Outdoors, and 7,000 additional Stealth-I shelters plus spares from MMI. These purchases are the result of the evaluation and testing of commercially available systems that were previously purcha sed. These shelter systems were down-selected from the systems originally purchased and were then evaluated in operational testing. The Eureka ICS2000 and the Stealth-I were the leading shelter designs accepted during the operational testing. These procu rements are part of a Rapid Fielding Initiative to support deployed/deploying troops in Areas of Operation and are subject to the availability of funds.
