- Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. The proposed contract listed is set aside for small business, and applies to Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 334515, and employee standard size of 500. Offeror must state in their offer whether they are the manufacturer of the products or obtaining them from another small business or a large business. This procurement is a ?Sole Brand? purchase: Motorola is the only brand acceptable. The contractor shall provide the following items with the options indicated: one (1) Motorola R2670 Communication System Analyzer, FDMA, Color LCD, HI with the following 11 options (Motorola Option Number / Description): (1) RLN4034A C Message Filter with 600 ohm selectable meter load, (2) RLN5069A Tracking Generator, (3) RLN4361A CCITT Filter with 600 ohm selectable meter load, (4) RLN4306A Cable Fault Tester (RF detector probe and RF ?T?), (5) RLN4485A Programmable Test Setups Memory, (6) RLN4423A High Performance Spectrum Analyzer with Markers, (7) RLN4484A Phase Modulation / Demodulation, (8) 0180302E82 Isolation Transformer for Baseband Output, (9) 0180302E83 Isolation Transformer for Meter Input, (10) A001 Heavy Duty Transmit Case, (11) RLN4442A 5-Year Extended Service Plus (including Annual Calibration). Quotations for this solicitation must include shipping costs (FOB destination). The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items-applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) (6) (14) (16) (17) (18) and (24).
