- 16 Sep 2003 - Amendment 1 has been posted to PIXS. The amendment corrects the number of pages contained in the solicitation and corrects the date for receipt of sealed proposals. The due date for the proposals is changed: FROM: 22 Sep 2003 at 1430 hrs. TO: 25 Sep 2003 at 1430 hrs. 15 Sep 2003 - The scope of this project consists of removing the Vertical Oscillator Tower and filling in the pit with a concrete pad. The removal includes all parts associated with the tower, including the seat, rails, and base. The electric motors shall be saved for Wright-Patterson AFB. The contractor shall perform lead abatement procedures on any tower parts coated with lead-based paint. Contractor shall also perform lead abatement in the pit walls at the base of the tower. All debris shall be removed from the site and the area cleaned. The concrete pad shall be filled with gravel and rebar installed in accordance with Schedule B of the solicitation. The period of performance is 45 days. The estimated price range is between $0 and $25,000. This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The NAIC Code is 23594. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, the contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award of solicitations issued after 31 May 1998. Tel: 1-888-CCR-2424. Fax: 1-703-696-023. Every solicitation issued after 31 May 1998 must include the clause at DFARS 252.204-7004, "Required Central Contractor Registration". The web site address is: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may however, download and print the file from the World Wide Web. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are approximately 27 pages of the solicitation. 5. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendums that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 6. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date (25 Sep 03) specified in the solicitation. There will not be a public bid opening. 7. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended or Proposed for Debarament are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
