Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: 0001 - MACHINE: RAPID PROTOTYING USING FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING (FDM) TECHNOLOGY. MUST HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO MANUFACTURE PARTS USING ABS PLASTIC. MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS NT, WINDOWS 2000, AND WINDOWS XP SOFTWARE MUST BE COMPATABLE WITH AUTODESK AND AUTOCAD NETWORK. COMMUNICATION: MUST BE COMPATABLE WITH BASE NETWORK OF 10/100 BASE T, ETHERNET PROTOCOL. BUILD SIZE: MUST HAVE CAPABILITY TO BUILD PARTS UP TO 600 X 500 X 600 MM (23.6 X 19.7 X 23.6 IN)ACHIEVABLE ACCURACY: MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE MODELS WITHIN AN ACCURACY OF +.127 (+.005 IN) ACCURACY ON MODELS GREATER THAN 127MM (5 IN) IS + .0015MM PER MILLIMETER (+ .0015 IN/IN)SIZE AND WEIGHT: 2235 (W) x 1981 (H) x 1118 (D) MM (88 X 78 X 44 IN) 1134 KG 2,500 LBS. POWER REQUIREMENTS: MUST BE BETWEEN 208-240 VAC, 50 / 60 HZ, 32A SINGLE PHASE. MODELING MATERIALS: MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE PARTS IN COLORS OF WHITE, RED, GREEN, BLACK, YELLOW, AND BLUE. LAYER WIDTH/THICKNESS: MUST HAVE CAPABILITY FOR OPERATOR TO OPTIONALLY SELECT ROAD WIDTHS BETWEEN .193-.965 MM (.0076-.038 IN) AND THICKNESS FROM .127 TO .250MM (.005-.010 IN). 0002- TRAINING, SHIPPING & ANNUAL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE (1 YEAR) For delivery To: 982d MXS, Sheppard AFB TX 76311 This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F13LGM32320100. This procurement is being issued for FULL & OPEN COMPETITION. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.
