Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quotation; numbered F5IOOA32300600, which seeks proposals based on information contained in the synopsis. This synopsis and incorporated provisions/clauses are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334111 (1000 employees). It is the government?s intent to award as a sole source under authority of FAR 6.302 to Honeywell International 271 4th Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55408. The Government wishes to acquire the following items on an all or none basis. Substitutions will not be allowed. The Government intends to acquire the following items: Experion TPS Server, LCN Connected, w/LCNP4, P/N TBD: 1 EA; Experion TPS Server License (ESVT), P/N EP-ESVTB, 1 EA; Pair of 75-ohm RG-11 BNC tees for LCN?s A and B, P/N 51190728-105, 16 EA; MAU, 5ea, P/N 51305348-100; Pair of 75-ohm RG-11 BNC terminators for LCN?s A and B, P/N 30732052-001, 16 ea; NIM (non-redundant, EPNI, K4LCN-8MB, R500), P/N MP-NIMS73-100, 1 ea; Wireless Web Pad, P/N S7350B, 2 ea; DeskSide PC WKS1 1.26 GHZ Pent II, LCNP4 PLA, P/N TP-WKS101-100, 1 ea; U.C.N. RG-6 Drop Cable Pair (in-cab), P/N MU-NKD000, 2 ea; U.C.N. TAP Pair w/4 Drops, P/N MU-NTAP04, 1 ea; Service Agreement to service and maintain the above, 1 ea. Should offers be received from other than the sole source, Honeywell International, the Government will consider all prices during the evaluation with the award to be made to the lowest total evaluated price to the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice on intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to date of closure will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This acquisition will be processed using the simplified acquisition procedures. The following Provisions/Clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offeror shall include a complete copy of the provisions of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Awards cannot be made to contractors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration at time of award.
