- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ), F38601-03-Q3022. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423210. The size standard is 500 employees. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted, and request must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification ? Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, tax identification number, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, Award will be made on a Best Value determination with price, quality and delivery [FOB destination is mandatory] the determining factors; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal quotes applies to this acquisition as Or equal quotes will be accepted. The government reserves the right to determine or equal status. This procurement is for the purchase and installation of Office Furniture, Manufacturer is fulmarque, quartet, sparco, highpoint, martin, maxon, dmi, and faustino items or equal. Quotes shall include all line items to be considered. Please see the Government?s requirements for this acquisition in the attachment to this solicitation. Note: Vendors be advised funds are not currently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this request for quote is contingent upon the availability of funds. The government reserves the right to award some, all, or none of the line items stated in its requirement. All offers are due no later than SEP 25, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
