- The VA North Texas Health Care Systems intends to award a contract for an Automated Transport System, powered to include installation. EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS FOR AUTOMATEDTRANSPORT SYSTEM: 1. APPLICATION: Automated Transport System (ATS) designed for 24" x 24" Amsco/Steris racks to interface with Amsco/Reliance 777 automated tunnel washer system. ATS will be used to transport Amsco Racks from SPD prep room to SPD Decontamination area. 2. DIMENSIONS: External Dimensions- Width 31" Height 36" Length 50 ft. 3.LOAD CAPACITY: 100 lbs. per rack 20 racks 4. CONSTRUCTION: Stainless steel frame, fully washable pan and cabinet, with hinged service panels and central controle console. 5. All ATS components must be capable of withstanding and operating in a Wet environment. ATS must withstand repeated exposure to health care Cleaning and disinfecing agents. 6. ATS must have 1 section to include side loading and unloading in the prep Room. 7. ATS must havae three draw bridges to maintain access sto the three tunnel Washer control panels. 8. ATS has one turn at a 90 degree angle. 9. ATS has 1 stop before racks pass thru to decontamination. Decontamination will need to have control panel to release racks from the stopping point. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is being issued as an Anticipated Sole Source; Request for Quote (RFQ) 549-03-4-205-0110 is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The applicable authority for this intent is FAR 6.302. All quotes must meet the listed requirements in this announcement. Solicitation documents and Incorporated Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This procurement is unrestricted. NAICS code is 33699. The size standard is 500 Employees. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. FOB is destination. Payment will be made on receipt and acceptance of the equipment.
