- Description
- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Cytyc Corp. of Boxborough, MA for the purchase of ThinPrep2000 - MultiMix Vortexor. Contractor shall provide training for one (1) pathologist and one (1) cytotechnologist. Contract price shall include all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, shipping, handling and installation (if required) necessary to furnish the supplies and equipment listed in the pricing schedule. All supplies shall be shipped F.O.B. destination. Contractor shall provide training for one (1) pathologist and one (1) cytotechnologist - Includes Travel, Food and Lodging for a three day training class at Cytyc Corp. Equipment is to be delivered to the V.A. Medical Center, 5000 W. National Ave, Milwaukee, WI. 53295 The Government believes that Cytyc Corp.is the only company, which can meet our requirements NAICS: 421450. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how they can meet the VA requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, Building 5, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. If no responses are received within the period indicated, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Cytyc Corp.
