- Description
- Defense Contract Management Agency intends to award the lowest responsive responsible contractor who can furnish preventative maintenance services for the following vehicle handling equipment; 2 each -15K diesel forklifts, 1 each - Front End Loader, 6 each ? 4 K propane forklifts, 8 each ? 4 K electric forklifts, 1 each ? 6 K propane forklift, 1 each ? Hanomag scrap handler 1-19 ton, 1 each ? warehouse tug, 1 each ? Tennent warehouse riding sweeper, 1 each ? Tennent electric warehouse riding sweeper and 1 each Harlan warehouse propane tractor. Preventative maintenance services shall include but not limited to oil change, lubrication services, and complete tune up, change belts and air filters as required and check the vehicle?s brakes. Minor preventative maintenance services shall be performed during the months of January and February 2004 and the overall major preventative maintenance services shall be performed during the months of July and August 2004. The contractor must be able to response to any emergency repair request within 24 hours after notice from the Government. This notice is a combined synopsis & solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Executive Order-Commercial Items and DFAS Clause 2252.212-7001, Contract Term and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Order Applicable, applies to this acquisition.
