- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy?s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Service Center has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) inviting qualified HUBZone Small Business concerns to submit proposals for Security and Safeguards Programs Support services at the NNSA Service Center and its supported sites located on Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. The NNSA Service Center plans to award a cost-plus-award-fee contract having an estimated value of $50 million over a five-year period to a qualified HUBZone Small Business concern. This RFP is restricted to qualified HUBZone Small Business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code 541690 (Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services) specifies a corresponding size standard of $6 million. All RFP documents must be downloaded from the DOE e-Center Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS) at http://e-center.doe.gov - hard copies will not be mailed. Interested Offerors are urged to carefully examine the entire solicitation and its requirements, and not rely on the draft documents posted on 8-8-03. The site tour and proposal due dates are specified in the RFP. NNSA requires all proposals to be submitted electronically via the IIPS system - submission of proposals by means other than IIPS is not authorized. Assistance to register and use IIPS is available by clicking the Help button located on the DOE e-Center home page. All questions pertaining to this announcement shall be submitted via IIPS by clicking the Submit Question button located on the web page for this solicitation - any questions submitted by means other than IIPS (telephone, e-mail, etc.) will not be answered. NNSA will make every effort to promptly post answers to questions submitted via IPPS. Answers to questions submitted via IIPS may be viewed by clicking the View Question button located on the web page for this solicitation.
