- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. This is not a request for technical proposals. This procurement is a total small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 236220 and a Small Business Size Standard of $27.5 million. The General Services Administration announces an opportunity to qualified small business construction firms to provide construction services under a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity construction contract for projects ranging from $2,000.00 to $100,000.00 per task order. The scope of work will consist of providing all labor, materials, supervision, tools and equipment necessary for general repairs and alterations to Federal Government-owned and leased facilities within the State of Kentucky. Each award will be for a one (1) year base and four (4) one-year options. This solicitation will utilize Source Selection Procedures in accordance with FAR 15.1, or the Best Value concept to evaluate and make selections. Offerors will be evaluated on their (1) Experience on similar projects; (2) Past performance on similar projects; (3) Management Plan/Quality Control; and (4) Experience of key personnel. The tentative date for issuance of the solicitation is 03 October 2003. The solicitation contains a demonstration project for evaluation purposes that involves Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) building information. As a result, in order to be included on the Bidders Mailing List (BML) to receive the solicitation, offerors must print, complete, sign and return the attachment to this notice entitled Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors. For reasons of security and before relase of SBU information, the attached document including a copy of (1) the offeror's business license; (2) Dun and Bradstreet No.; and (3)Tax Identification No. must be received by the Government before the solicitation, plans and specifications can be released.
