- DUE TO URGENCY - ALL REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 15 SEP 2003, 2:00 PM, EST. Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intends to contract services to machine and HVOF WC/NI coat 10? X 23? Hydraulic Rod. Cylinder rod will require chemical cleaning, verify straightness, fill gouges with inconel 625 and apply HVOF WC/NI coating. Service is to be performed at contractor's facility. Service will to be accomplished in accordance with MIL-STD-1687, TSM FP WC-01 and MIL-H-19457D. The rod is currently located on a naval vessel. A site visit will be held at Norfolk Naval Shipyard on 19 SEP 2003. Those interested in attending are to furnish individual?s name, birth date, place of birth, and social security number to Debby Spain no later than 17 SEP 2003, via e-mail. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 332710. This contract will be awarded using utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Closing date for receipt of offers will be 2.00 P.M. 24 September 2003.
