- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting lodging for counseling retreats to include conference rooms, sleeping units, and meals. An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract is anticipated consisting of a base period, and two options years. The base period will begin on or about the 15th of October 2003 and will continue for one year thereafter. There are three types of retreats each having a set requirements and will be solicited as three lots. Retreats must have adequate walking areas and provide a country setting. LOT 1 72-HOUR RETREAT 6 retreats per year. Lodging for 24 people no more than 2 per room. Arriving on Thursday evening departing on Sunday afternoon. Meals: Thursday-beverage only, Friday and Saturday-3 meals, Sunday-2 meals Commuting time from Bremerton within 2.5 hours, 2 Conference rooms: 1 to accommodate 24 people 1 to accommodate 12 people. LOT 2 48-HOUR RETREAT 6 retreats per year. Lodging for 24 people no more than 2 per room. Arriving on Friday evening departing on Sunday afternoon. Meals: Friday-beverage only, Saturday-3 meals, Sunday-2 meals. Commuting time from Bremerton within 2.5 hours, 2 Conference rooms: 1 to accommodate 24 people 1 to accommodate 12 people. LOT 3 48-HOUR MARRIED COUPLES RETREAT 8 retreats per year. Lodging for 30 people 1 couple per room. Arriving on Friday evening departing on Sunday afternoon. Meals: Friday-beverage only, Saturday-3 meals, Sunday-2 meals Commuting time from Bremerton within 1.5 hours, 2 Conference rooms: 1 to accommodate 15 couples. Award will be made by Lot. This acquisition will be conducted using FAR Parts 12 and 13 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by FISC Puget Sound. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. It is currently anticipated that the RFQ will be posted at NECO on or about September 12, 2003, with a 10-day closing. All firms wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from the NECO website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone requests will be accepted. A fax to (360) 476-5083 or an email to Susanne_Broadus@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted if you are unable to download the RFQ. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection
