- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation N5700703RCZFP42 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation notification; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Amendment is issued to revise the product description for CLIN 0001 as follows: CLIN 0001 ? ?Second Chance?, Monarch Summit IIIA Body Armor, all aramid vest made with SimuLITE?, new ARAFLEX? VI ballistic fabric and ButterflyLITE? construction technology, breathable Millennium Gold GORE-TEX COMFORT COOL? fabric panel covers to make the Sixth Generation Monarch Summit. Sizes to vary (500 male and 200 female). Tan, no tails. Quantity - 700 Respondents shall indicate applicable GSA contract number if items are available via this procurement mechanism. If supplying an or equal please provide specifications on product. Place of delivery:ISSOT/VREP Contracting N44932, 1860 Leutze Blvd. Bldg. SDA 216, Norfolk, VA 23511. This solicitation incorporates the following clauses and provisions: Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (IX) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with their offer. (X) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XI) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XII) This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Quotations will be due to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, 1968 Gilbert Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 by 17 September 2003, by 3 p.m. local Norfolk time.
