Description
NA This modifies the original synopsis posted September 3, 2003 to reflect the correct NAICS Code and SIC Code. The correct codes are NAICS = 561990 and SIC = 7389. The anticipated issue date is now January 14, 2004. The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Aberdee n Proving Ground Directorate of Contracting has a requirement for Post-Wide Underground Utilities Locating, located at both the Aberdeen and Edgewood Areas of Aberdeen Proving Ground. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsive, res ponsible small business offerors will be considered. The solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) that has estimated hours based upon historical data derived from the current contract, DAAD05-98-D-7003, with Accurate Locating. The RFP has five 12-mon th performance periods, a base year with four 1-year options. The proposed contract will be a Requirements-type contract where the hourly rates are firm-fixed-price (FFP) for each performance period. Individual FFP delivery orders will be issued against the contract for locating work when it becomes available. This includes electronically locating, tracking, and marking all underground utilities new and existing as well as performing vacuum excavation test holes, and performing all administrative, and ve rification procedures. Contractor shall respond within 2 hours to emergencies 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Contractor shall provide each service technician with a service vehicle, tooling and training to perform all types of locating underground utilitie s. The contractor shall meet the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) requirements. The solicitation will be posted to the following website on or about January 14, 2004, (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil). No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Contract will be awarded on an ALL or None basis.. NAICS Code applicable to this action is 561990 with a size standard of $6 million. (SIC Code 7389).
