- This is a SOLE SOURCE combined synopsis/solicitation to Vashaw Scientific, Inc in Norcross Georgia for the following commercial item: LEICA S4E Stereozoom Microscope, Manufactured by LEICA, Model S4E, Quantity=6. This item is required within 30 days ARO, and FOB destination is required. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted) on F09650-03-Q-0108. This procurement is being issued as a SOLE SOURCE requirement. NAICS code: 333314; size standard = 500 employees. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the issue date of the solicitation. The following are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation?Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items), 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items), specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-3 (Convict Labor), FAR 52.222-21,(Prohibition of Segregated Facilities), FAR 52.225-1 (Buy American Act-Supplies), 52.222-26 (Equal Opportunity), 52.232-33 (Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration, 52.233-3 (Protest After Award), DFARS 252.204-7004 (Required Central Contractor Registration), DFARS 252.212-7001 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items).
