- "Request contractor assistance to repair Digital Clock NSN 6645-01-274-3384. The digital clock is a solid state design that uses a liquid cyrstal display (LCD) to provide twenty-four hour numeric time indication and a sweep second pointer, which operates in both clock and elapsed time modes. The clock is used on multiple aircraft platforms by both Air Force and Army users. The digital clock is night vision (NVIS) compatible, and incorporates an internal battery as a keep alive power source for the internal clock circuitry. Technical data that details repair procedures for the clock is not available. The scope of the effort is for the contractor to develop repair and test procedures based on reverse engineering efforts of the clock, and repair the clock to a serviceable condition that meets the performance criteria identified in the procurement specification PD89MME-637 Rev A, 07 Aug 90. All parts used in repair of the clock must be form, fit, and function suitable replacements that meet all current clock performance specifications. Estimate a minimum repair of 15 clocks per month.
