- BASEWIDE HOODS AND DUCTS CLEANING This is a combination synopsis for commercial items to be procured for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F33601-03-T-0262 is Request for Quotations (RFQ). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561790. Period of Performance is 1 Oct 2003 ? 30 Sept 2004, for the base year with four one year options which may be awarded. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1 (July 2003), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial are hereby Incorporated by reference. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small business concern in accordance with the FAR clause at 52.219-6, ?Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (July 2003)?, applies. Solicitation provisions at FAR 52.212-2, ?Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999)? are hereby incorporated by reference. A Firm Fixed Price is anticipated for all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that hoods, ducts, and exhaust fan systems cleaning is performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Request For Quote (RFQ), Statement of Work (SOW), Past Performance Questionnaire, Bid Schedule and Wage and Determination is posted on the WPAFB Pre-Award Information Exchange System (PIXS) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/ make up this synopsis/solicitation. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. The Government will use information submitted by the offeror as well as other sources to conduct its Past Performance Survey. Offerors are cautioned to follow the detailed instructions fully and carefully, as the government intends to make as award based on initial offers received, without discussions of such offers. The Past Performance Questionnaire is to be sent to 3 References with instructions to send completed questionnaire to the Contracting Specialist, Barbara P. Jemmott, NOT LATER THAN 3:00 pm, 23 SEPT 03. A registration page will be attached to the web site. If you would like to receive notice of any amendments and/or addendum that may be issued to the solicitation, you may register. If you do not register, it is your responsibility to review the web site for any changes to the RFQ. Contractors that are debarred, suspended or proposed for debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Bids prepared by debarred suspended or otherwise ineligible contractors are at risk and expense of the contractor. No telephone requests. Fascimile or alternate proposals are not acceptable. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be submitted with the offer. The clause at FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit, applies to this acquisition. Site Visit is planned for 18 September 2003 at 9:00 AM.
