- Description
- Adams and Associates, Inc., contracting for the U.S. Department of Labor, for the operation of the Woodstock Job Corps Center, a 505 student residential training facility located at 10900 Old Court Road, Woodstock, Maryland, is currently soliciting written proposals and bids for Vocational Training in Accounting, Business Clerical, Retail Sales, Welding and Advanced Culinary Arts Programs. The Contractor shall provide on-site instruction in Accounting, Retail Sales and Welding at the Center. Off-site instruction shall be provided to our Advanced Culinary Arts Program and Business Clerical programs. Instruction shall be provided in accordance with provisions set forth in the USDOL Contract, the Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH), and Company Standard Operating Procedures and handbooks utilizing Job Corps-developed curriculum, program instructions, Training Achievement Records (TAR's). Instruction will be based upon the Contractor's Continuing Education Curriculum for the Accounting, Business Clerical, Retail Sales, Welding and Advanced Culinary Arts vocational skills trades. Instruction will utilize a self-paced, open entry/open exit format for Accounting, Business Clerical, Retail Sales and Welding. A Bid conference will be held October 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. to discuss services and policies. Written bids should be submitted in writing to the Finance and Administration Department by COB November 21, 2003. Adams and Associates, Inc. reserves the right to reject any bids and select the bid deemed most responsible.
