- This posting serves as combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This posting constitutes the solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. If it appears the entire Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not visible, please contact Contracting Officer. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15(b). Full text of clauses and provisions are available at http://www.arnet.gov/ OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items ALT III (OCT 2000), with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (FEB 2002), applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (JUNE 2003), applies to this acquisition and the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are: 52.219-8, 52.222-21,52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37. The Metropolitan Detention Center - Los Angeles, California (MDC-LA), is requesting quotation for the FOOD ITEMS listed separately (please click on Attached List) on this Request for Quotation (RFQ). Prices should include all shipping and handling charges (F.O.B. Destination). The government is mandated to use government credit card (MasterCard), therefore, any credit card service charges you may incur must be included in your price. Please return the following completed forms: SF1449 (Pages 1 & 2), Pages of Items with price quotes, and Representations & Certifications. Packaging & Weight Question: (Round down to the nearest case / packaging size). ?MEAT ITEMS? packaging labels or product information will be required to be faxed with your price quote or before award. All meat items must have a minimum of three (3) months of shelf life remaining after delivery of nay expiration, sale by or use by date. We reserve the right to award by line times or group of line items or as total award, whatever way is most advantageous to the Government. Deliveries from awards on this solicitation must be delivered after October 1, 2003. Abstract of Offers: All abstracts will be posted on www.eps.gov for 15 days after award for vendors to view or to obtain printed copies. We will no longer mail or fax copies. Awards for this solicitation are FILL or KILL - if not delivered by November 25, 2003, cancel any or all remaining items not delivered.
