- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement consitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solcicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation #041702-043 (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 14. (iv) This procurement is set-asided for Small Business. (v)Eggs, 82,000 dz (vi)Provide shell fresh or shell protected fresh, Large, US Consumer, Grade A. Quantity is an estimate only. Delivery orders will be placed on a weekly based each Thursday for delivery the following Tuesday. Drivers will need to complete an NCIC background investigation and adhere to all security requirements of the Federal Facility prior to entrance of gate. (vii) Delivery to begin October 01, 2003 and continue on a delivery order basis until September 30, 2004, FOB Milan, Michigan, (Destination) (viii) The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commerial Items, - Price (x) Offerors are to provide a copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisiton. (xii) Payment will be made net 30 days ARO by electronic funds transfer. (xiii) Offers are due September 26, 2003 close of business EST. (xiv) Contact Peter J.
