Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation number FDA360050. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $21 million. Provide FilterLogix iCM Intelligent Content Manager for 10,000 FDA users for (3) years, Windows 2000 Servers for (4) four users, and Microsoft ISA Servers - Standard Edition for (8) eight users. The Government will award a purchase order to the offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions. Clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. Clauses and provisions can be obtained at www.arnet.gov. Offers are due either in person or by fax on September 18, 2003 by COB, at Food and Drug Administration, 5630 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20857.
