- Description
- Provide all materials (excluding Government Furnished Material), labor, equipment and transportation required to accomplish work installing, replacing, or removing aid-to-navigation (ATON) structures in Willapa Bay, Grays Harbor and Chehalis River. Work includes: (1) Emergency removal of damaged ATON structures that present a hazard to navigation; (2) Improper Characteristics work which includes non-emergency removal, replacement or repair of damaged ATON structures; (3) Geodetic survey with minimum accuracy level of third order, class I shall be performed and a report be prepared for each ATON structure installed, when required by the Delivery Order. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $250,000 to $500,000 (CONSTRUCTION BIDS ONLY). Performance period is one calendar year (from 1 December 2003 to 1 December 2004). The applicable NAICS code is 234990. Small Business size standard is $17.0 million. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 5 November 2003. This date is estimated and may change. For security reasons all Coast Guard Drawings are available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) which will have a separate link on the FedBizOps webpage identified as Technical Data Package. Offerors will need to register with FedTeDS and receive a user name and password to be able to download Coast Guard Drawings. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.00 with interest at the prime rate.
