Description

The NAICS code for this requirement is 922120. The Bureau of Land Management intends to enter into a contract with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS). The intent of the contract is forADPS to provide upgrade to to system structures, towers and equipment. ADPS is the only entity qualified to perform site upgrades since they are the frequency owners for their system and they have the expertise and assets necessary to perform the upgrades and add us to their network. Security issues also justify a sole source situation with DPS since there is heavy reliane on the system for border protection.
