- NA The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center at Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole source basis with National 4-H Council, 7100 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. The NAICS code for this requirement is 454110 and t he size business is $21,000,000.00. Items/supplies will be purchased for various Army Child and Youth Services programs to develop and strengthen training and partnerships with parents. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and procure with only on e source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Various items/supplies include stadium cup; theme pens; Centennial coins; miniature balls, State Lapel Pins; Woodcase pencils; Basic Meeting Kit; Fuzzy Bear stickers, bordered emblem stickers; Garfield stic ker sets; Babypoly; classroom gardenings; embryology in the classroom; chick development posters, clothing decisions book set; financial championships; 4-H public relations; Babysitting Savvy Leader's guide; Unlock Your Leadership Potential; Workforce prep aration; Power of Youth Visor. The reason justifying this sole source procurement is that the Government believes that only one responsible source can provide all the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it can furni sh the items described above is encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. No multiple awards will be m ade. All responses received within two days of the date of this publication (by close of business September 11, 2003) for this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on r esponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
