- NA The Directorate of Contracting Fort Campbell intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Mark Dunning Industries, Inc., P.O. Box 2046, Dothan, AL 36302-2046 for the purchase of scheduled refuse collection and disposal services in Army Family Hou sing at Fort Campbell for the period 1 October 2003 through 30 November 2003. Magnitude of the requirement is to provided supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, and materials to conduct weekly collection of refuse at 4020 sets of Army Family Housing Qu arters which amounts to the disposal of approximately 425 short tons of each month. Estimated value between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. This sole source procurement is under the simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence m ust be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to t his notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code for this procurement is 56211 and is to be awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Mark Dunning Industries. Responses are due by 19 September 2003, 12:00 p.m. (CST).
