- THIS SOLICITATION IS CANCELED AS OF SEPTEMBER 9, 2003. The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspections Service (APHIS) Veterinary Services(VS), Laredo, TX 78041, intends to procure a D3 Caterpillar with a 70 HP turbocharged engine, single lever steering, hydraulic angle blade (no wider that 100 inches, six-way tilt), canopy with protective screening and lights, Brand Name or Equal. NAICS Code 333111 . Delivery FOB destination Laredo, Texas. This is a firm fixed price contract. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15.
