- Description
- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract for engineering and analysis support for period of twelve months to Oak Hill Group, LTD, 4350 North Fairfax Drive, Suite 400, Arlington, VA. This requirement is for optimum enterprise management of the fielded GCSS (Global Combat Support System) servers. Software Engineering and Systems Analysis expertise required providing metrics reporting on the current and future operational GCSS servers, which are fielded worldwide to produce relevant data that will assist the program to enhance the GCSS (CC/JTF) system to be efficient and effective. Tasks will include (1) Task Management (2) Contractor Reporting (3) Analytical & Engineering Expertise. In addition the work may include testing and conducting studies using commercial tools such as OPNET to identify ways to optimize the overall GCSS. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2302 (c) (1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement on 15 September 2003 following publication of this notice no later than 2:00 p.m. EST via email at lamberta@ncr.disa.mil or facsimile to (703) 681-1465/346. However email submission is preferred. Award is anticipated o/a 18 September 2003. Oral communications are not acceptable. See attached SOW.
