- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Biloxi, Mississippi intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Micromedex, Inc., Greenwood Village, Colorado, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (c), for the consolidation of software currently being used by medical centers in the Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 16. This software will be installed on one (1) server allowing VISN 16 medical centers to access such software through the VA’s Intranet site. Contract will be for one (1) year with the Government having the option to extend annually for up to four (4) additional years. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient information to this office to evaluate the possibility of a firm to submit a valid proposal. All responses must be submitted, in writing to the Contracting Officer by September 18, 2003 by 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Responses can be faxed to (228) 563-2675. If no responses are received by September 18, 2003, the VA shall proceed with negotiations with Micromedex.
