- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request For Quotes (RFQ). Quotes are due via email to terry.oyama@gsa.gov no later than 4:00 pm, Hawaii Standard Time, on 10 September 2003. All responsible sources will be considered. The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Region 9, Hawaii Area Office, intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, commercial contract for Check point software and associated products on or about 12 September 2003. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-5 and DAC 91-13. Provide a price for each of the following items: CLIN 0001: Checkpoint Software FW1, Qty 1; CLIN 0002: Checkpoint FW1 Software Subscription, Qty 1; CLIN 0003: Checkpoint FW1 Remote Module, Qty 4; CLIN 0004: Checkpoint FW1 Remote Software Subscription, Qty 4. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition. A best value trade-off analysis will be conducted, considering warranty and price, in order to determine the best value to the government. Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 and 252.247-7022. The following additional FAR clauses apply: 52.203-6, 52.203-6 Alt I, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33. The following additional DFARS clauses apply: 252.212-7001, 252.204-7004, 252.205-7000, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7014, 252.227-7015, 252.227-7037, 252.243-7002, and 252.247-7024.
