- Description
- The V.A. Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, N.C. intends to award a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to a provider who shall serve as a contract Residential Treatment Facility (RFT), to veteran patients at this medical center. The contractor is to serve as a half way house in Asheville, NC and provide room and board, supervised 24 hour staffing and therapeutic and rehabilitative services for homeless veterans. Under the terms of this contract, the RFT shall only furnish services to beneficiaries for whom such care is specifically authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 624229 with size standard of $5.0 million. The solicitation will be available 9/22/03 with proposals due 10/22/03. Contract period will be one base year plus four one-year options.
