Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DTCG86-03-Q-483041 applies and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-14. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis, with full and open competition to provide a 36' X 60' triple-wide modular building set up and ready for use at USCG Integrated Support Command, Sand Island Road, Honolulu, Hawaii. The NAICS code is 531130. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract. The statement of work reads: Contractor shall provide a 36' X 60' triple-wide modular office building, with separate men's and women's toilet facilities delivered including permits, set-up, blocked, leveled with anchoring ready for use no later than 10/27/03 for a period of one year. The price shall also include any taxes, demobilization and eventual pick-up of the trailer at the end of the rental period. The Coast Guard is also interested in renting two sets of stairs for a period of two (2) months from the date of set-up and the purchase of two (2) two-hundred and fifty (250) gallon holding tanks including delivery, set up and taxes. Anticipated award date: September 29, 2003. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this request for quotation and are incorporated by reference and/or full text as required. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Oct 2000) except para. (f) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999). This provision will not be used. The government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, provides the lowest price. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commerical Items (Apr 2002). FAR 52.252-2, Clauses incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998). This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
