Description

NA QUESTIONS ON DISTRIBUTION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE PLANS ROOM AT PHONE (251) 690-2536 OR FAX (251) 694-4343. Specific questions related to this project may be answered by Mr. Al Denmark at fax number (251) 690-2902. Contractin g Officer for this project will be Mr. Edward M. Slana. This project will construct a new 163 room, 89,000 SF dormitory at Maxwell AFB, AL. The building is a 5 story steel frame structure with cold-formed steel framed roof trusses. The exterior closure includes brick veneer at the first floor and EIFS at the upper floors. The roof is concrete tile on a plywood deck. The facility includes two passenger elevators, one freight elevator and three stairwells. The project includes, extension of existing uti lities, paving, landscaping and installation of a new 800-ton centrifugal chiller in the Central Chiller Plant. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 23632. Bid documents are available on or about 24 September 2003. Estimated cost of work is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered.
